Having Fun at This Week's Clarke County Fair, Michelle Jones Is Dividing Time Between the Poultry Barn and the Clarke County GOP Tent -- Plus Earning 4-H Fundraising Dollars with "Smooch-a-Moo"!
Stop by to visit with Commonwealth's Attorney Candidate Michelle Jones at the 69th Clarke County Fair at the Clarke County Fairgrounds this week. She'll be collecting fundraising dollars as a participant in the "Smooch-a-Moo" fundraiser benefiting Clarke County's 4-H Volunteer Leaders Association.
Throughout the week, you can vote for the local "celebrity" you'd like to see "Smooch-a-Moo" (i.e., kiss a dairy cow) Friday evening. Votes are monetary donations placed in boxes at the fairground barns. All donations go to the 4-H Volunteer Leaders Association.
"This fundraiser is so much fun -- and for such a good cause," says Michelle. "Please come out to the fair and visit with me and other GOP representatives. I'll be spending a lot of time helping my daughter at the Poultry Barn, supporting Paws-n-Claws 4-H Club, and manning the Clarke GOP tent."
Michelle adds: "I hope everyone has a lot of fun at this year's fair. I want to extend a big thank you to the Clarke County Ruritans for all the hard work that went into the new Poultry Barn and other fair improvements. See you at the fair!"
